Coke Machine

A few unanswered questions . . .
Did Dan really get his hand stuck in a coke machine?
Did Sandy's friend Simon ever pay the BYU ticket he got driving Dad's car?
Did Karen REALLY have a huge party when the rest of the family drove across the country?
Did Sam actually punch Dan in the stomach when he snored?
Did Joe really hold a babysitter hostage by spraying her with the hose?
Did Katy actually enjoy being Dod Richen? and if so, why?
Did Leslie really drink a screwdriver at a friend's house in California?
How many times did the BMW get crashed?
How many times did the station wagon get crashed? The mustang? The Honda? etc.

Yes, my hand did get caught in the candy machine. But, I was like 5 years old and had no one watching over me. I could have easily been kidnapped. No one cared, so I made sure I was noticed. Made sure people could remember me.

#2, yes Sam did punch me in the stomach as hard as he could in the middle of the night, mid-REM sleep because I was snoring. He could have shaken me awake, or yelled in my ear, or even tweaked my nose, but he chose to punch me full force in the gut. This is a true story.

Sam also rode down Apple avenue (they Rhiney Leichty side of Apple) on a bike with no brakes without any shoes on. He was going probably 30 MPH and stopped himself by dragging the tops of his bare feet on the street.

I want to set the record straight. I did not kill the BMW. It ran well after me. There were many who had turns with it and I can't take all the blame for its demise.

Dan-I gently shook you, whispered in your ear, rubbed your back, plugged your nose, shook the bed a little, grabbed your arm gently, grabbed your arm firmly, grabbed your arm hard, put my hand over your face and pushed your head up and down on your pillow but you would NOT QUIT SNORING! So maybe I lost it a little, I was going to push you off the top bunk.

Sandy, the beemer was yours. I got to drive it a few times but you drove it until it would over heat then wait till the smoke stopped, then drive again till smoke was billowing, then stop put a little water in, then drive again and so on and so on. But I still love you. That would have been such a fun car for Dan and I to drive when we were teenagers. Or maybe you didn't do it. I am not that sure. I mean you took and auto mechanic class.

Dan I was with you when you got your hand stuck, I had nothing to do with telling you to do it though. I think I told you not to do it. that it would be dishonest and I would not take whatever you got away from you and eat it myself.

Karen I can't believe you had a party while Mom and Dad were gone. I never did that (don't ask Joe about the barbecue I had when he and doneille came over and made us leave with two big barbecues still cooking in the back of Doug F. truck)
